This is a tribute to our Nikki who is now ten years old. Over the years Nikki has produced some top winning progeny. Aust. Ch. Wingdari Coolabah Dream (owned by Rosemarie Forbes, South Australia) is one of her winning daughters by our dog Wingdari Cracker - Coolabah Dream won her Australian Title before she was twelve months old. We have retained a full sister from this same litter and will campaign Gabby later this year. Nikki has been a multi Royal Challenge winner, Challenge winner Australian Kelpie Club of NSW, Opposite Sex in Show winner, Runner Up Best Exhibit in Show winner, multi class in show winner and the list goes on. Nikki is the mother of Aust. Ch. Wingdari Swaga Chaos who is a Best In Show All Breeds winner, Best In Group, Runner Up Best in Group and multi Classes in Show winner. Nikki's other son Finnish World and Junior World Champion Wingdari Swaga Mischief (Chaos's brother) has won at the Helsinki International Dog Show in 2004 and 2005 - winning the titles of Junior World Champion and World Champion respectively. Both of these dogs are by Sunaru. We here at Wingdari have only shown three of Nikki's daughters. Wingdari Swaga Sprite - a Chaos's sister won Best Puppy of Breed at Brisbane Royal Dog Show. Chloe was only starting out in her show career when she broke two of her front teeth, which she caught in the metal fence, trying to pull a bone through the steel bars and therefore cannot be shown. Chloe will remain with us here at Wingdari. Gabby will be campaigned this year to gain her Australian Title. "Choloe" has had a great start to her show career. At her first show placed 3rd in a large class of baby puppies at the Kelpie Speciality Show in Sydney. From there she has gone on to win Baby in Group, Reserve Challenges from the Minor Puppy Class and Runner Up Best of Breed. "Choloe" has come up against her auntie "Poss" who is a multi Royal Ch. bitch, BIG, Classes in Show winner. Good golly Miss Molly! This little lady has character and attitude. Molly has only been shown lightly due to family commitments. Molly at her first Royal won first Puppy Bitch "judges comments -just as well you are so pretty as you are very very naughty!" as he awarded her first place and she wanted to jump up and kiss his face! Molly was shown again in Dec.2002 where in four consecutive shows she won four reserve challenges to Poss and four puppy classes in group. Molly won Challenge Bitch and Runner Up Best of Breed (to her father "Sunny" who was BOB) at the 2003 Sydney Royal. At Brisbane Royal 2003 again Molly excelled by winning Reserve Challenge Bitch and Runner Up Best of Breed. Her father "Sunny" again was Challenge Dog. More Information: |

"Sprite" is a treasure - full of fun and always in the water bowl swimming. "Sprite" has not been shown very much due to work commitments. The Brisbane Royal 2003 was her first show for some time. "Sprite" took it in her stride - won 1st Minor Puppy and then took out Best Puppy of Breed. "Sprite's" father won the Challenge Dog - her half sister "Molly" won the Reserve Challenge Bitch and Runner Up Best of Breed, her brother "Chaos" won 1st Puppy Dog, all this at the Brisbane Royal - a family affair! Profile: "Bindi" - well she is a ray of sunshine. Happy full of life, everybody's friend and scared of nothing. Bindi has started her show career very well winning four 1st places out of six to our other puppy "Tilly" who won the other two 1st placing's. Bindi and Tilly both winning over older puppies. Bindi has recently won Baby in Group. Comments from one judge - "This little girl needs a five mile hike - then come into the ring". Full of energy and always happy. Bindi is a blue bitch so it will be very interesting how she will do in the show ring. Many judges pass over the coloured dogs in preference to the solid colours even if the coloured dog is true to type and sound. Presently we are campaigning red/tan, black/tan and now our lovely girl Bindi who is a "true blue girl". More Information: |

Profile: Becky is just about to enter the "big world" of showing. In the above photo Becky is only twelve weeks old. Becky is a lovely, kind, gentle puppy but still retains that high Kelpie spirit and the love of getting into mischief. This little girl is the grand-daughter of the great Uluru and the daughter of Sunaru and out of our lovely girl Wingdari Lavenda Blue "Brie". One of Brie's other daughters was exported to Sweden and is jointly owned by two kennels. With Becky's free flowing movement, alert, out going temperment and being of true Kelpie type we have high hopes for our girl. More Information: |
