""Bindi""

"Bindi" is a true blue Kelpie even down to the pigmentation of her nose. Her eyes also are the correct colour and harmonise with her coat colour as the standard requires - not brown or yellow eyes as some blue Kelpies are now being bred.

This lovely young bitch won a number of minor and puppy in group awards and qualified for the Western Region Puppy of the Year Competition. Many judges just loved "Bindi" for her fun loving ways, her beautiful temperament and her love of life.

Unfortunately, "Bindi" lost her life to a brown snake. This loss just devasted all who knew our "Bindi". "Bindi" was a hunter, a worker - every thing that moved "Bindi" wanted to work. A true ambassador of the breed in type, soundness, temperament and even her coat colour with the lovely double coat and correct blue. Most blue dogs are missing the double coat and the correct texture - our "Bindi" had it all. I was so looking forward to showing and breeding "Bindi" in the future - but this was not meant to be. We here at Wingdari were very fortunate to have known and loved "Bindi" even though it was only for a short space of time.
